Description

Sharing your data and code beyond your immediate research team has become commonplace and often a condition of receiving funding or publishing a manuscript.

Join Johns Hopkins Data Services as they discuss how their various services can help researchers with the data-sharing process. In addition, the speakers will highlight trends and new policies around data sharing and management.

This Brown Bag is also an opportunity for the audience to share about the challenges that Johns Hopkins researchers and administrators face with data sharing. The speakers have prepared a number of questions to ask and hope to identify ways to alleviate these pain points.

Speakers:

  • Betsy Gunia, data management consultant, Johns Hopkins Data Services, Sheridan Libraries
  • Dave Fearon, data management specialist, Johns Hopkins Data Services, Sheridan Libraries
