The "International Week of Women and Girls in Science: Global Perspectives in Science Diplomacy," organized by the Johns Hopkins Science Diplomacy Hub in collaboration with the embassies of Finland, Norway, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates, features flash talks and country overviews by distinguished speakers. A reception will follow the event. Please RSVP by Feb. 8.

Speakers:

  • H.E. Leena-Kaisa Mikkola, ambassador of Finland to the U.S.
  • H.E. Anniken Huitfeldt, ambassador of Norway to the U.S.
  • Alia Alsuwaidi, deputy chief of mission, Embassy of the United Arab Emirates
  • Katarzyna Rybka-IwaƄska, head of communications and public diplomacy section, Embassy of Poland

Country overviews will be followed by the first "Breaking the Ceiling." panel:
