Elior Rahmani, an assistant adjunct professor in the Department of Computational Medicine at UCLA, will give a talk titled "Robust Data Analysis for Precision and Equity in Biomedicine" for the Department of Computer Science.

Abstract:

Realizing precision and equity in health care requires developing robust molecular and clinical models that generalize across studies. This talk will present breakthroughs in robust data analysis that enabled molecular and clinical discoveries, including novel regulatory-like naïve T cells linked to aging and variation in type 2 inflammation linked to asthma drug response.
