Description
Johns Hopkins hosts the 43rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration with keynote speaker David Thomas, president of Morehouse College and noted expert in organizational management.
The program will be held on the East Baltimore campus and also livestreamed. This year's theme is The Dynamic Power of Hope.
This event will also include remarks from Johns Hopkins leaders, recognition of the recipients of the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award for Community Service and the recipient of the 2025 Dr. Levi Watkins Jr. Ideals Award, and uplifting selections from Singing Sensations Youth Choir and Unified Voices, a choir composed of Hopkins employees and East Baltimore residents.
