Description

Please join this month's Safe Zone conference, covering:

  • Language, Labels, and Their Limits
  • Queer Histories, Queer Futures
  • Examining Intersectionality
  • Advocacy Toolkits

Participants can attend either the full conference or only certain workshops, but you must attend all four workshops to be Safe Zone certified, even if these sessions are not during the same conference.

The Safe Zone program invites everyone to create a safer and more supportive campus climate for sexual and gender minorities and their allies. This program is housed within Gender & Sexuality Resources; it was established in 2012 as a collaborative training effort engaging students, staff, and faculty across all departments and offices at Johns Hopkins.
