Broadway Special Holiday Event

Description

Come take a trip through the years and look at how some of the year-end holidays have been represented and reflected on Broadway with an eye on the music, choreography, and dance. While this event will be a celebration of both Broadway and the holidays, rest assured that this is not your usual holiday special. Come prepared to participate, learn something new, enjoy, and be entertained.

This event is hosted by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute & Community and led by Lisa Yanguas.

Yanguas been a dancer, instructor, and choreographer in locations along the east coast. She learned from and performed with tap legends Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Honi Coles, Harold Nicholas, and many others. As a native New Yorker, Broadway has always been her love and passion. She possesses an almost encyclopedic knowledge of Broadway, is truly a Broadway theater and dance geek, and is excited to share her passion with this audience.
