Description

This Academic Career Design program will be composed of a comprehensive series crafted to empower faculty and staff members across all levels of academia. This longitudinal program workshop will offer a holistic approach to academic career design by incorporating the best practices and principles of professional development, academic executive coaching, authenticity philosophy, and strengths-based psychology. Through personalized guidance and tailored strategies, participants will embark on a transformative journey, cultivating their innate talents into intentional strengths. By harnessing the power of strengths psychology approach, participants will be empowered to explore areas outside their comfort zone and expand their horizons. This process will aim to foster personal growth and amplify professional success within the realm of academia.

This workshop includes:

  • A unique access code to complete the online CliftonStrengths 34 inventory and get a full report
  • One 3.5-hour live (virtually) group workshop to include discussion and application with facilitators and fellow Johns Hopkins faculty and staff
  • Two 1:1 academic coaching sessions (via Zoom or phone call) with a Certified CliftonStrengths Coach
  • Digital workbook to facilitate personalized coaching sessions
  • Earning up to 6.5 CME/CE credits

Tickets

The virtual program is $2,250, but Johns Hopkins faculty and staff may use their tuition remission benefits to cover the full cost.
