Just in time for Spring or Summer 2025 planning, Hopkins Office for Undergraduate Research (HOUR) offers two weeks of hands-on, virtual workshops to help Johns Hopkins undergrads get started on their research journey. Go beyond what's offered on HOUR's website and get customized, hands-on experience with the resources, tips, and best practices HOUR offers in these workshop sessions.
This session focuses on "Summer Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Students, Part 1: Identify & Select Summer Opportunities." There are two opportunities to attend this session on Nov. 18 and 19.
Topics:
- Understand summer timelines
- Know the range of opportunities available
- Exploit search engines and platforms
- Manage the process … and your expectations.
Please note:
- All sessions are virtual in the Eastern time zone.
- Sessions include hands-on activities for you to conduct your own individualized searches/editing.
- These sessions will not be recorded.
