Description

This special collaboration between In the Stacks and Hopkins Votes will celebrate the power of music in democracy. Peabody Institute student jazz ensembles will explore themes of voting, civic engagement, social responsibility, and collective action.

Alongside the musical performances, attendees will have the opportunity to explore archival and special collections material that highlight both jazz and history.

Come enjoy an evening of jazz, literature, and democracy—and don't forget to vote! For resources to get registered and make a plan, visit <hopkinsvotes.jhu.edu>.

Registration Information

Registration will open three weeks prior to the performance at 10 a.m.

Capacity is limited. Up to two tickets per person may be reserved prior to the program. Registration is confirmed by email. Please cancel your registration if your plans change so that others may register.

If the program is sold out, walk-ins will be able to join a standby list on a first-come-first-served basis. Unclaimed tickets (regardless of registration) will be released to standby 10 minutes prior to the start of the program. Preregistered guests should arrive early to secure their seats. Most standby patrons are able to be accommodated.
