Description
The Hopkins Lecture Series, in collaboration with HopkinsVotes and the Political Science Steering Council, hosts U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Maryland) for a moderated discussion on U.S. foreign policy and Cardin's congressional tenure.
For more than 37 years, Sen. Cardin has been a national leader on foreign policy, health care, retirement security, the environment, and fiscal issues while representing the people of Maryland in the U.S. Senate, and before that in the U.S. House of Representatives. As chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he has worked across party lines to further American national security and ensure that good governance, transparency and respect for human rights are integrated into American foreign policy.
This event is free and open to all JHU affiliates. A catered reception, sponsored by HopkinsVotes, will follow the event for attendees who check-in before 7:35 p.m.
