Navigating IRB as an Undergraduate: A Virtual Info Session
Description
As part of the Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity's (URSCA) Undergraduate Research Week (Oct. 21–25), this virtual info session will provide guidance for undergraduates interested in conducting research that involves human subjects. Whether the research is in the natural sciences, social sciences, arts, or humanities, students dealing with human participants in any way must receive approval for their study from the Institutional Review Board (IRB). In this info session, a member of the Homewood IRB will explain IRB policies for undergraduates, outline the process for applying for IRB approval, and answer questions.
