Description

Shot in the Arm, a documentary by filmmaker Scott Hamilton Kennedy (The Garden, Food Evolution), explores vaccine hesitancy historically and in the context of our modern pandemic. Featuring top public-health officials—including Antony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases—as well as rare interviews with anti-vaccine activists, this documentary discusses the complex and intertwined worlds of public health, vaccines, vaccine safety, and the search for truth.

After the screening, filmmaker Scott Hamilton Kennedy and other subject matter experts discuss how to avoid misinformation, the need for scientific literacy, how public health plays a role in disease outbreaks, and more.
