2024 Henrietta Lacks Memorial Lecture: Eliseo Pérez-Stable

Join the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical & Translational Research in honoring the legacy of Mrs. Henrietta Lacks at the 14th anniversary of the Henrietta Lacks Memorial Lecture. This year, guests are invited to attend in person or virtually.
Eliseo Pérez-Stable, director of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities at the National Institutes of Health, serves as the keynote speaker. Guests will also hear from Nadine Barrett, professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Public Health at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the senior associate dean and director of the Atrium Health/Wake Forest Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Multimedia visual artist, composer, and musician Paul Rucker perform.
The 2024 awardees of both the Urban Health Institute's Henrietta Lacks Memorial Award and the Henrietta Lacks Dunbar Health Sciences Scholarship will be announced.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the program starts at 9 a.m. Breakfast and lunch be provided. Please register early as spaces are limited. For in-person attendees, the best parking garage is Washington Street Garage (701 N. Washington Street, Baltimore, MD 21205).
