Description

The Ralph O'Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) is hosting an information session for undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing Johns Hopkins' energy minor, which ROSEI is affiliated with. Students who have either already declared the minor or are considering it are welcome to attend.

Susanna Thon, an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and director of the minor for the Whiting School of Engineering, will lead a discussion with topics that include useful resources for pursuing the minor and advice about classes related to energy at Johns Hopkins. The formal discussion is expected to run from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. After that, attendees can ask Thon questions about the minor as well as network with other faculty involved with the minor and socialize with other students interested in energy.

Free lunch will be provided for those who register by noon on Aug. 30.
