Johns Hopkins–Korea Biotechnology and Drug Discovery Symposium
Description
Johns Hopkins University will host the first joint academic conference with Korean bio companies, the "Johns Hopkins–Korea Biotechnology & Drug Discovery Symposium." The symposium aims to strengthen global research-and-development collaboration between Johns Hopkins and Korean bio companies, featuring presentations and discussions on advanced biotechnology and new drug development.
The event is organized by the Johns Hopkins Global Biotechnology Innovation Center, established with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy's Global Industry Technology Cooperation Center. It is led by Deok-Ho Kim from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and co-organized with K-BioX. The symposium will be held online and in person, with Korean bio company representatives preparing for entry into the U.S. market and professors and researchers from Johns Hopkins participating.
