Description

New York Times opinion columnist Carlos Lozada discusses his new book, "The Washington Book: How to Read Politics and Politicians," with Ashley Parker, senior national political correspondent for The Washington Post and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, as part of the Authors & Insights series at the Hopkins Bloomberg Center.

Learn how Washington's power players reveal themselves through their writings, from tell-all accounts to campaign biographies, and gain a clearer understanding of the competing visions of our country. The event will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Lozada will sign copies of his book before and after the program.

Authors & Insights is a series of in-depth conversations with some of today's most compelling authors and thinkers exploring the issues that matter most in our world today.
