Description
Come to Johns Hopkins Hospital for an exciting event with hospital president Redonda Miller and Mayor Brandon Scott.
Known as a community walk, a group of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Johns Hopkins Hospital faculty, staff, and students are invited to walk around the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus and surrounding area to raise awareness for National Gun Violence Prevention Month in June. The first 50 attendees will receive a free #wearorange t-shirt for gun violence awareness, and there will be free snow cones at the event.
The event will begin at 4:45 p.m. at Turner Auditorium with remarks from Redonda Miller. The walk follows at 5 p.m., outside the Turner Concourse at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and concludes around 5:50 p.m. at Eager Park. Please note: A previously announced concert by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Ensemble, part of the Eager Park Concert Series, has been postponed due to weather with a new date to be announced.
