STEM Forum and Cosmic Visions Student Art Exhibition

Description

The Space Telescope Science Institute hosts a joint Youth for Astronomy & Engineering Program STEM Forum and Cosmic Visions student art exhibition.

First, learn about how to create stunning images and videos from telescope data, and then hear from local student artists about how they are inspired by the telescope images. Talks will be followed by an opportunity to view the artwork created by the local students and engage in hands-on activities. Light refreshments will be provided during the art exhibition portion. Weather permitting, the night will close with a tour of the Offit telescope.

The program will be geared towards students in 4th to 12th grade (middle and high school youth), but all are welcome to attend.
