Congressional Briefing Series: Experts discuss the latest on avian influenza

Johns Hopkins University is hosting a live, virtual congressional briefing on the recent avian influenza outbreak. This briefing is the latest installment in an ongoing series that allows policymakers, their staff, and members of the public to gain up-to-the-minute insights and analysis. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest research from Johns Hopkins experts and to submit questions in real time.
During the briefing, attendees will hear the latest news on the outbreak as well as how avian flu is detected and transmitted, how experts are globally tracking the virus and the number of infections, updates on vaccine developments, and the danger of other emerging biothreats.
