Description

Join Health Promotion and Well-Being for lunch and a talk from members of Hon's Honey, a social enterprise dedicated to giving dignity and purpose to women survivors of trauma—addiction, trafficking, generational poverty, and abuse. Their products are handcrafted in Baltimore by women survivors, with the healing power of love. Hon's Honey is an employment program of a nonprofit called The Well. Learn about the work these organizations do for survivors of trauma in Baltimore.

All attendees will receive a free jar of Hon's Honey and will be entered into a drawing to win one of three Hon's Honey gift baskets.

This Sexual Assault Awareness Month event is part of a week focused on taking action to create communities that uplift survivors and are not permissive of gender-based violence.

Lunch will be provided. Vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options can be made available; please email Alyse Campbell at alyse@jhu.edu for dietary preferences.
