Description

Students and recent graduates, are you interested in spending the 2025-26 academic year abroad, pursuing research, graduate study or a creative project, or teaching English and U.S. culture? Join the Johns Hopkins National Fellowships Program (NFP) for an upcoming Zoom info session to learn about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

Since 2010, more than 200 students and alumni from Johns Hopkins have been awarded Fulbright grants to 65 countries on six continents. Fulbright student grants allow rising and current seniors, graduate students, and recent alums to conduct an independent research project, earn a master's, or serve as an English teaching assistant while engaging in cultural exchange with their host communities. To apply for a Fulbright grant, you must be a U.S. citizen at the time of application and have a bachelor's degree by the time the grant would start (but not have earned a doctoral degree by the time you apply).

The info session will cover the basic grant types, how to choose a host country (from among more than 130), and how NFP supports students and recent graduates applying through Johns Hopkins, which has been a top producer of Fulbright U.S. Student Program grantees for 14 years running. There are multiple opportunities to attend this info session throughout April.

Learn more about Fulbright grants and NFP's advising process on the NFP website.
