Shenping Wu, a research scientist in pharmacology in the School of Medicine at Yale University, will give a talk titled "Cryo-EM As a Tool in Biomedical Research" for the Department of Biology.

Abstract:

Cryo-EM has rapidly evolved into a mainstream method of structural biology since the resolution revolution about a decade ago. I will discuss the prospects of cryo-EM in life sciences and share my thoughts on running a modern cryo-EM facility.
