Simon Newstead, chair of molecular biophysics in the Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of Oxford, will give a talk titled "Understanding the Role of Solute Carriers (SLCs) in Human Health and Disease" as part of the School of Medicine's Department of Biological Chemistry Seminar Program.

Tea will be served at 11:45 a.m. followed by the lecture at noon.
