Description

Despite medical advancements, strokes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease continue to ravage socially and economically disadvantaged communities and communities of color. Join the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and NMAC to learn about potential interventions and policy solutions to this systemic challenge.

This is the second in a four-part series put on by the Health Opportunities for Policy Equity (HOPE) Challenge, a collaborative initiative created by the Center for Health Disparities to leverage federal policy solutions to close racial and ethnic health disparities.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. while the event will kick off at 9 a.m. Continental Breakfast will be provided on the 8th floor with the program happening in the first-floor theater.
