The hybrid Donald L. Price Memorial Symposium features keynote speakers Don W. Cleveland, department chair of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at UC San Diego, and Stanley Prusiner, a Nobel Prize-winning biochemist and neurologist.
Other panel discussions on neuroscience topics include:
- Human and Comparative Neuropathology and Aging: Juan Troncoso, director of the Johns Hopkins Brain Resource Center; Lee Martin, director of the Johns Hopkins Graduate Training Program in Pathobiology; and Lary Walker, associate professor emeritus of neurology at Emory University
- Axonal Biology and Trophic Factors: Vassilis Koliatsos, Johns Hopkins professor of pathology; Paul Hoffman, neurosurgeon from the Catholic Health Initiatives Memorial Neuroscience Institute; Bill Mobley, a distinguished professor of neurology at the UC San Diego School of Medicine: and Moses Chao, a professor of neuroscience and physiology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine

The neuroscience-based Donald L. Price Memorial Symposium honors the late Donald Price, founder and director of the Johns Hopkins Division of Neuropathology and the leader of the Neuropathology Laboratory and the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center for many years.
