Info Session: Goldwater Scholarship for Sophomore and Junior STEM Researchers

Description
The Goldwater Scholarship seeks to identify and support college sophomores and juniors who show exceptional promise of becoming the next generation of research leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Awards are made annually, with each scholarship providing a maximum of $7,500 per year for tuition, fees, books, and room and board. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, be sophomores or juniors in an eligible field of study (natural sciences, mathematics, engineering), intend to pursue a PhD and a career in research, and have significant research experience.

Johns Hopkins can nominate up to four students to the national Goldwater competition. To be considered for a nomination, applicants should submit a pre-application by Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. EST using the instructions on NFP's Canvas course for Goldwater applicants. To be added to the Canvas course, please send a brief request with your JHED to nfp@jhu.edu.
