Description

Maureen Black, a distinguished fellow in early child development at RTI International, will give a talk titled "Thriving Among Children Globally" as the International Center for Maternal and Newborn Health's first seminar of the school year. Time will be provided for Q&A at the end. Lunch will be provided.

Black has a wealth of experience in relation to children's health, particularly in the prevention of health disparities associated with children's early development, including poverty, nutritional deficiencies, and the lack of early learning opportunities.

This event is hosted by the Department of International Health at the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
