Info Session: Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans

Description

Established by Hungarian immigrants and American philanthropists Paul and Daisy Soros, this fellowship provides opportunities for continuing generations of accomplished new Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields. The fellowship provides up to $90,000 over two years to support full-time graduate study in any professional, academic, or artistic field in any graduate program in the U.S. (except for executive MBA programs, online degrees, and joint bachelor/master's programs). In addition, Soros Fellows participate in a cohort program and join a lifelong network of alumni of the program.

To be eligible, applicants must be a new American, meaning either an immigrant or child of immigrants (please see the Soros website for a more detailed definition) and, at the time of deadline, be: a U.S. citizen, green-card holder, or granted DACA status; be under 30 years of age; be a senior or graduate with specific graduate study plans or be in your first or second year of a graduate program you seek to fund; and fulfill the selection criteria for Soros Fellows.

A Soros representative is offering a virtual information session just for Johns Hopkins students and recent alumni.
