NSF Graduate Research Fellowship: Personal Statement Workshop for Johns Hopkins Applicants
Description
If you intend to apply for the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF), please attend one of two virtual writing workshops offered by the Johns Hopkins National Fellowships Program (NFP). These identical sessions will focus on how to approach the personal statement that is a major part of the NSF GRF application, including ways to address the NSF's "broader impacts" criteria. This is the second of these sessions; the first is on Sept. 7 at 12:30 p.m. EDT.
Additionally, NFP advisors will be available to review a personal statement if submitted for one of two deadlines: Sept. 21 or Oct. 5. Drafts in each batch will be read and returned in the order they are received. Drafts will be accepted only via the NFP's Canvas course for NSF GRF applicants, which offers additional resources. To request access to this course, please email nfp@jhu.edu.
