Hopkins Summer Research Symposium
Description
The annual Hopkins Summer Research Symposium features the work of visiting undergraduate students who have spent the summer conducting research in labs and classrooms across the Homewood campus.
Participating in the Amgen Scholars Program, various National Science Foundation–sponsored research experiences for undergraduates, the Rowland Summer Research Fellowship in Physics and Astronomy, Trinity Washington University's Summer Undergraduate Research Experience, and the Mellon Humanities Collaboratory, 68 undergraduates from across the U.S. have worked on independent and collaborative research projects with Johns Hopkins faculty and staff since May. At the symposium, these students will present their research in poster sessions and oral presentations.
The schedule is as follows:
- 10 a.m. to noon, Glass Pavilion, Levering Hall: Poster Sessions (STEM researchers)
- 1 to 5:30 p.m., Gilman 50: Oral Presentations (humanities researchers)
