Description

The Recruitment Innovation Unit (RIU) at the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR), in partnership with StuddyBuddy, is hosting a Clinical Trials Awareness Day event, which commemorates James Lind's first randomized clinical trial in 1747. The event aims to raise awareness about the significance of clinical trials, disseminate study findings, and encourage participation.

The event presents an excellent opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of researchers and participants in advancing medical knowledge and developing new treatments. The public is welcome to come to the park and enjoy a day dedicated to celebrating clinical trials and Johns Hopkins' research.

The event includes:

  • prizes and giveaways
  • live music and games
  • food and coffee
  • community
  • organizations
  • research findings
  • presentations

All Johns Hopkins clinical trial studies can participate in the event for free by reserving a table for May 20. Study teams are encouraged to bring materials explaining their research and any findings they've discovered. If you're interested, sign up online to receive more information and details about the event.
