The Alexander Grass Humanities Institute's Humanities in the Village series continues in February with Elizabeth Bronwyn Boyd in discussion about her new book, Southern Beauty: Race, Ritual, and Memory in the Modern South (University of Georgia Press, 2022). Samanda Robinson, Johns Hopkins PhD candidate in English, will moderate and lead the discussion on topics that include histories of dress and gender formation, cultural anthropology, and Black studies.
