Description

The Gupta-Klinsky India Institute at Johns Hopkins University hosts the panel discussion "Empowering Health for All—Exploring Digital Innovations for Health Equity." This special hybrid event marking a new collaboration between Johns Hopkins University and the Koita Centre for Digital Health at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Panel questions include: How are digital health solutions bridging the health equity gap? What are the disruptive innovations of our time?

Sridevi V. Sarma, associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and vice dean for graduate education at the Whiting School of Engineering, will give the opening remarks.

The Gupta-Klinsky India Institute at Johns Hopkins University, housed within the University's Office of the Provost, brings together the Johns Hopkins community—faculty, staff, students, and alumni—and a diverse range of Indian partners to improve society in India and beyond through research, education, policy, and practice. The faculty comprise experts in medicine, public health, education, arts and humanities, business, economics, public policy, engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence.
