Description

Join the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute for a conversation about revolutionary lives: What makes someone into a revolutionary? What do we make of revolutionaries of the past—those who gave everything to the cause, those who are left behind, and everyone in between?

Kick off the 2023 Humanities in the Village talks with this terrific discussion with Johns Hopkins history professors Laura Mason and Sarah Pearsall about Mason's new book, The Last Revolutionaries: The Conspiracy Trial of Gracchus Babeuf and the Equals (Yale University Press, 2022), followed by audience Q&A.

Masks encouraged. Hosted by the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute and the Ivy Bookshop.
