Third Thursdays with the ICTR: Research Participants Want to Know! What Are the Results of the Research?

Increasingly, research participants have reported an interest in learning the outcome of the research they have contributed to; however, relatively few studies have a formal plan to share research findings with the participants.

At the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research's next Third Thursdays lecture, a panel of investigators will disclose the best communication methods for returning results, discuss institutional review board review of proposed dissemination plans, and offer strategies for deciding what information to return and the appropriate time to do so.
