Richard Bell, a professor of history at the University of Maryland, will give a talk titled "Stolen: Free African Americans Kidnapped and Sold into Slavery" as part of the Helena Hicks Speakers Series.

The Helena Hicks Speakers Series, presented by the Billie Holiday Center for Liberation Arts, honors Helena Hicks, the foremother of the student-led movement for Civil Rights in Baltimore City.
