Description
Watch live on the big screen as NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test makes asteroid impact at 7:14 p.m. EDT. This first-of-its-kind, proof-of-concept mission, managed by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, will intentionally crash a spacecraft into an asteroid's moonlet to deflect it away from its course.
The event will include games of BubbleBall, giveaways, food, DJ and a large screen for watching the moment of impact.
This event is free and open to the Johns Hopkins community. RSVP is not required.
