Indigenous Rights and Environmental Justice Symposium
Description
Please join the Latinx Public Health Network for a hybrid symposium on Indigenous Rights and Environmental Justice.
Given the global rise in assassinations of Indigenous environmental land-defenders on the front lines of the climate crisis, it is a decisive time to provide a platform for Indigenous peoples to communicate priorities for strengthening global environmental justice and health equity.
Honored speakers:
- Carla García (OFRANEH)
- Lucía Ana Ixchíu (Festivales Guatemala)
- Maria Orellana (Provida)
