Description

Experience the opportunity to take an up-close look at just a portion of the Johns Hopkins University's Evergreen Museum & Library's extensive and stunning collection of late 19th and early 20th century art glass. With a range of styles, forms, and makers, Art Glass at Evergreen offers visitors the chance to consider the art glass movement within a compelling social and economic context. From Louis Comfort Tiffany's famous favrile glass lamps to Egyptian Revival forms sold by New Jersey's Durand, the designs of art glass uncover fascinating stories. The livestreamed tour is followed by a live Q&A.

The tour features Michelle Fitzgerald, curator of collections at the Johns Hopkins University Museums, in conversation with Amy Mulvihill, associate director of communications and marketing for the Johns Hopkins University Museums.
