Hopkins at Home Livestream and Q+A: James Webb Telescope Launch

Image caption: Technicians use a crane to lift the James Webb Space Telescope inside a clean room at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Once launched into space, Webb’s 18-segment gold mirror will capture infrared light from the first galaxies that formed in the early universe, and peer inside dust clouds where stars and planetary systems are forming today.
