Description

In celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Equal Access in Science and Medicine Committee, Advocates for Disability Awareness Club, and the Johns Hopkins Disability Health Research Center in coordination with 500 Women Scientists invite you to a special event: the Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for Disabled Scientists.

The workshop will be a hands-on, virtual event in which participants will learn how to properly write/edit a Wikipedia page within the website's guidelines to increase representation of scientists within the disabled community.

Advanced registration is required because every 10 participants will be matched with a facilitator from the 500 Women Scientists organization.

CART captioning will be provided. For other disability-related accommodations, please email Nicole Pannullo at npannul1@jhmi.edu.
