Please join Johns Hopkins Tech Ventures' FastForward U program for an exciting workshop called Global Health Ventures: Advancing Innovations from Idea to Impact. This event will bring teams of graduate students of all experience levels together from across the university to help advance global health-related intellectual property developed at Johns Hopkins towards commercial impact. Participants will have a chance to hear from speakers who will discuss the global health innovation landscape, how to identify a solution with commercial promise, and tips for building an impactful business. All experience levels welcome.
Thousands of innovations have been invented at Johns Hopkins but have yet to reach their full potential. Are you interested in learning how to take one from idea to impact? Learn from guest speakers about global health innovation and tips for starting your own venture.
Participants will work with a graduate student team from across Johns Hopkins to:
- Review intellectual property developed by the Johns Hopkins community
- Identify a solution with commercial promise
- Understand what it takes to develop your own impactful venture
