This next installment of Government and Community Affairs' Showcase Series will highlight two initiatives of the Johns Hopkins Health System Opioid Stewardship Clinical Community: the Overdose Response Program and National Drug Takeback Day. Please join the presenters as they discuss how, through a strong partnership with the state, these two innovative programs help combat the opioid epidemic across Maryland.
Presenters:
- Meghan D. Swarthout is the division director of ambulatory and care transitions pharmacy services for the Johns Hopkins Health System
- Suzanne Nesbit is part of the Palliative Medicine Service and the Neuroscience Pain Resource Team at the Johns Hopkins Hospital
- Maryland Senator Shelly Hettleman represents District 11, Baltimore County
