Summer Research Institute: Applying Human-Centered Design to Behavioral Interventions
Description
You have the ideas — now how do you develop and advance them through the research pipeline? You want to ensure that the people you're trying to serve and other important stakeholders are at the center of the innovation and implementation process.
Join the Johns Hopkins Center for Innovative Care in Aging live for a two-half-day interactive and immersive virtual workshop. Participants will learn best practices in human-centered design across stages of developing, testing, and implementing non-pharmacological behavioral research interventions. Participants will have the opportunity to workshop human-centered design methods and gain a better understanding of how to maintain equity, build humility, address power dynamics, and advance intervention design through co-creation with community partners.
This program is designed for faculty, clinical researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and advanced graduate students from diverse health and social science backgrounds. Individuals from all institutions are encouraged to apply.
