Description

Racial/ethnic, gender, and sexual minorities often suffer from poor mental health outcomes related to accessibility of high quality mental health care services, cultural stigma surrounding mental health care, discrimination, and overall lack of awareness about mental health. This multimedia webinar examines the mental health needs, concerns, rights, and responsibilities of ethnic minority clients. Presenter, Norma Day-Vines, Ph.D., serves as Associate Dean for Faculty Development in the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University and maintains appointment as Professor of Counseling and Human Development.
