Baltimore Improv Group (BIG): Hop Art Program
Description
Ever taken an improv class before? Now is your chance to try it out, from the comfort of your own home, with a 60-minute introductory session. Through simple, fun, and supportive exercises, participants will explore basic concepts like playfulness, listening, and agreement – all in a safe and comfortable digital setting geared specifically toward those who are new to improv. The workshop is great for people looking to sharpen communication skills, get creatively inspired, and/or collaborate with others. Low stakes, huge fun.
Space is limited (capacity of eight, undergrad students only), so please sign up ahead of time to secure your spot. Students who signed up for the Feb. 18 class may be put on the waitlist to let others participate.
Hop Art, generously funded by the Parents Fund, provides Johns Hopkins students (undergraduate Homewood) an opportunity to attend Baltimore performing arts events, also allowing students and faculty to interact in a social setting.
