Description

The Parkway Theatre annually hosts the Maryland Film Festival, and their program Balti-Shorts includes a well-crafted selection of films made in Baltimore, by Baltimore, about Baltimore. These films will give you insight into the juxtaposition that is Baltimore and hopefully encourage you to become an engaged member of our community. These films will be available for viewing starting March 14 and will conclude on March 26 with a conversation led by Clarke Lyons (Film & Media Studies, AAP '19), associate producer of Sage, and Matthew Porterfield, faculty member in the Johns Hopkins Film and Media Studies program.

Hop Art, generously funded by the Parents Fund, provides Johns Hopkins students (undergraduate Homewood) an opportunity to attend Baltimore performing arts events, also allowing students and faculty to interact in a social setting.
