Description

Eliot A. Cohen, the dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, will host Wes Moore, a renowned author, motivational speaker, and Johns Hopkins alumnus, as part of the Dean's Speaker Series.

Moore, who has written several books, including Five Days: The Fiery Reckoning of an American City, detailing the aftermath of the 2015 Baltimore riots and the New York Times best-seller The Other Wes Moore, will join Cohen for a dynamic discussion on leadership, equity, and the anti-poverty efforts that guide his work as CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation.

The Dean's Speaker Series is the highest-profile speaker series at Johns Hopkins SAIS. The series will host a diverse array of prominent international affairs practitioners and business leaders for insightful perspectives and thought-provoking discussions on international relations, leadership and other relevant topics that impact our focus areas.
