Heritage 365 Speaker Series: Black Heritage Celebration featuring Jonathan Blanchard

Heritage365 initiative observes the cultural heritage and history beyond the month and recognizes such heritage month from a year-long format. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is excited to present musician Jonathan Blanchard and his presentation on "The Music that Fueled the Civil Rights Movement."
Jonathan Blanchard received his B.S. degree in commercial music and M.S. degree in music education from Tennessee State University. He develops workshops in colleges and universities to portray the art and history of "Negro Spiritual."
This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Black Faculty and Staff Association.
