Description

The purpose of this series is to showcase to members of the LGBTQ and allied community at Johns Hopkins what it means to be queer in the workplace. Bring your questions and hear from these dynamic speakers.

The speakers of this series come from different social and professional backgrounds, in order to show a range of possible experiences. The speakers will touch questions such as:

  • what does it mean to be queer in a professional setting or in academia
  • how and when to share one's identity in the workplace
  • professional advice to students
  • and more

The Feb. 23 event features Ernesto Chanona, from the Maryland Department of Commerce, and Tim Pulliam, from ABC 11 News in Raleigh, North Carolina. See the list of speakers by date. This event is hosted by LGBTQ Life.
